Welcome to El Shaddai Foundation! We are Kid’s cancer – nonprofit foundation in Minnesota which has only one objective: serve people in need of society.

The El-Shaddai Foundation is a Kid’s cancer – nonprofit foundation in Minnesota and was created in Brazil to help support families of children who have been diagnosed with cancer, also spiritually.

Our goals include: celebrating the importance of family in the lives of a child with cancer; educating and supporting others about the impact of having a child diagnosed with cancer; and honoring the unique journey that each child takes when they are diagnosed with cancer.

Every year, 12,400 children and teens are newly diagnosed with cancer, and one in four children die. The fact is startling, but to parents and families, who hold a child in their arms, cancer rates are meaningless and futile on that day of diagnosis.

The mission of El Shaddai, Kid’s cancer – nonprofit foundation in Minnesota is to provide information and support for children and adolescents with cancer and their families, to provide grassroots leadership through advocacy and awareness, and to support research leading to a cure for all children diagnosed with this life-threatening disease, in Brazil, EUA and all over the place.

While treatment for childhood cancer has improved drastically over the past 38 years from less than 20 percent survival to an approximate 75 percent overall five year cure rate, sadly childhood cancer remains the number one disease killer of our nation’s children

Children face aggressive treatments leaving a trail of devastation for their families. The diagnosis of a child with cancer is often at a time when the family is young and has a limited income. Often there are other small children to care for. Often one parent has to stop working to care for their sick child. The impact of having a child diagnosed with cancer is deeply felt financially, socially, and emotionally by the entire family. The needs are great and since our first day, El-Shaddai Foundation, Kid’s cancer – nonprofit foundation in Minnesota has become a recognized leader both nationally and internationally in the providing pediatric cancer family support.
